Painting – Mind Full of Miracles, Heart Full of Hope.

Imagine the possibilities.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” – Albert Einstein.

There is a funny story about this painting. It began as a doodle, a distractor, a -keep my body away from the computer and my fingers away from my phone, scrolling through updates from the New York Times- as the election wore on.

There was no plan or purpose. I did not have one iota of a creativity. I slapped and slopped, slashed and scrubbed colour onto the canvas.

However, with me out of the way the painting was able to paint itself.

Her eyes captured me. Her eyes tell the story found within millions of minds and hearts at this time. This year has challenged all of us in unimaginable ways.

Many quietly hold hope alive in their hearts like a candle on the hearth for themselves, their families, friends, for every person on the planet, and the future of planet itself.

These people are the generators of change, the guardians of grace, the spirit of the truth and love that ushers in the future. They are peace, they are gracious, they are humble and humorous, they are generous, they are spontaneous and serene within their passions. They are both incognito and available to see, they support and inspire others. They make the impossible, possible. They believe in miracles.

This painting is for all of those that unknowingly lead and inspire us all.

– with the deepest gratitude.

Imagine ALL the possibilities.

– Thank you.

  1. Wow! I love hearing how this came into being. It’s such a beautiful painting and almost looks like it could have been developed from a photograph. I think it’s the eyes that just speak so clearly to me and there is such beauty in the rendering of the whole painting. I find myself wanting to notice all the details it’s amazing!

    1. Thank you so much! I am so happy you like her. I think I will continue with this style and try to make less strokes, but more decisive strokes, if that makes sense. We shall see! Thank you again, take good care Catherine ☮️
