Motion Illustration – Reflecting

This morning as I sit in the quiet on an overcast day that is so dark it feels like early evening, I reflect on this past year since last Thanksgiving.

Many changes have taken place, new opportunities and moments that consistently offer me delight, wonder and gratitude. While I ponder this gratitude, I see how most of it is for the simple things; shared laughter, a great conversation, a job well done, constantly learning, and the discoveries on my walks. I reflect on “happy finds” while shopping, giggling, and silliness that are also favorite moments.

I am grateful to be creative both professionally and personally, and for the challenges and growth both bring. I am grateful for the mystery of each day, for the gift of kindness within us all and for those who share it.
